Sellers
 AFL
Record sellers are part of the game’s culture, livening up the
build-up to matches with their colourful jackets and non-stop spruiking.
Sellers must be 15 years old (14 and nine months in Victoria) and
must be reliable, honest, enthusiastic and outgoing. They need to
demonstrate initiative and understand how to deal with currency. Of
course, it helps if they love football.
Payment structures vary at each venue. At some grounds, sellers are
paid a set fee per hour, while at others, sellers are paid on commission,
either as a group or individually.
